When we make promises, we deliver and we celebrate. We’re thrilled to announce that the final touches are being made to the Casa Club at Nido. We’re filling the pools, refreshing the gardens, and giving everything one last polish before opening the doors to our intimate new haven.
Join us for the official inauguration of Nido’s Casa Club on July 10th as we toast to the next chapter. Residents and friends of the brand are warmly invited to experience the space, explore the amenities, and share a moment of celebration with our close-knit community.
With all 85 single-family lots sold out, Nido has grown into more than a development, it’s a family. This event marks not just the completion of a space, but the beginning of something meaningful.

At Estudio TAT, architecture is an emotional experience. Founded by visionary architect and CEO of the studio Bernardo Alvarado, the guiding mission is clear: go beyond conventional design to create spaces that speak to the soul of a place. “Our goal is to understand the essence of each site—its context, culture, and social dynamics—to create designs that are not only efficient and beautiful, but that leave a lasting, positive impact,” he explains.
What sets Estudio TAT apart is its deeply immersive process. Every project begins with a comprehensive understanding of the land. In Tulum, this means listening to the jungle. Through a combination of climate analysis, biodiversity study, and local traditions, the studio ensures that each design reflects the authenticity of its environment. “Architecture in Tulum must converse with the jungle,” he says. “We respect the natural and cultural landscape first, then use its unique conditions to inform holistic, sustainable solutions.” This often results in the use of natural, locally sourced materials that age gracefully, fluid forms that embrace existing vegetation, and an intentional play of light and shadow to evoke serene, emotionally resonant spaces.
“There’s no formula. The magic is in letting the place tell us what it needs to become.” - Bernardo Alvarado
Creating something meaningful in a dynamic place like Tulum means thinking about legacy. “To me, building something that lasts isn’t just about structural durability—it’s about emotional connection,” he says. “When spaces make people feel a sense of belonging, when they carry the spirit of a place and honor its history, that’s when architecture becomes timeless.”
Looking ahead, the studio sees their diverse opportunities in Tulum as a model for what the future of architecture can be. With a multicultural, environmentally conscious community rising in the Riviera Maya, the responsibility to design responsibly is bigger than ever. “We’re called not just to adapt— but to lead,” he says. “Architecture must be a force for preservation, mobility, biodiversity, and beauty. Tulum can become a global benchmark for how we build, live, and coexist in harmony with the natural world.”
