UMusic Hotel & Beach Club Tulum: placing Culture at the Heart of Tulum Renace

Written by Inmobilia | 1 de September 2026

Tulum is preparing for a new phase. As part of Tulum Renace, an initiative launched by the Government of Mexico to strengthen the destination’s tourism, cultural, and economic development, Inmobilia, UMUSIC Hospitality & Lifestyle (UMHL), Thor Urbana, and UNWTO are joining forces to promote a cultural agenda aimed at putting Tulum on the global map.

As part of this partnership, UMUSIC Hotel & Beach Club Tulum—scheduled to open in the first week of December 2026—will serve as one of the main platforms for this initiative, integrating music, entertainment, creativity, and hospitality into a project with international reach.

More than just creating a new point of interest within the destination, the vision seeks to strengthen Tulum as a cultural experience in its own right, connecting visitors and residents with the music, art, gastronomy, nature, and creative talent that are part of its identity.

A New Platform for Culture in Tulum

With 57 rooms, a beach club that can accommodate 800 people, and a creative hub, UMUSIC Hotel & Beach Club Tulum is designed as a space for concerts, live events, audiovisual production, and collaborations with artists and creators.

The project will also feature recording studios and spaces dedicated to content creation, offering new opportunities for musicians, filmmakers, producers, designers, and digital talent.

Among its first strategic collaborations is Zamna, a music platform founded in Tulum and internationally recognized for its contributions to electronic music. The partnership thus connects the creative talent that is already part of the destination’s identity with a platform that has a global reach.

UMUSIC Beach Clubs & Lifestyle (UMBL), a joint venture between UMUSIC Hospitality & Lifestyle and IMI Group, will be responsible for the project’s operations and programming.

Culture That Generates Value for the Destination

This partnership brings together UNWTO, UMUSIC Hospitality & Lifestyle (UMHL), Inmobilia, and Thor Urbana in a joint effort to strengthen Tulum’s cultural, tourism, and economic ecosystem.

The initiative is part of Tulum Renace, a long-term strategy promoted by the Government of Mexico, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) and the Government of the State of Quintana Roo, which aims to strengthen the destination through investment in infrastructure, sustainability, a broader cultural program, and community development.

Under this vision, culture and creativity are recognized as drivers of tourism and economic development. The partnership aims to contribute to this goal through a year-round program of experiences, boosting tourism, creating new opportunities for local communities, and strengthening Tulum’s position as one of the most significant cultural destinations in Mexico and the world.

In this context, UMUSIC Hotel & Beach Club Tulum joins as a platform to put this vision into practice, connecting music, creativity, entertainment, and hospitality with the ecosystem that makes Tulum a unique destination.

Inmobilia: Shaping Tulum’s Future

UMUSIC Hotel & Beach Club Tulum is being developed by Inmobilia as part of its vision to create projects that go beyond real estate development and generate lasting value in the destinations where they are located.

With more than two decades of experience and a track record of developing over 7.8 million square meters of master-planned communities in Mexico, Belize, and Spain, Inmobilia has built residential, commercial, mixed-use, and hospitality projects that integrate architecture, lifestyle, and experiences.

UMUSIC represents an evolution of this vision: a project that combines hospitality, music, and creativity to contribute to Tulum’s transformation and strengthen its connection to the international stage.

“For more than two decades, we have developed communities in southeastern Mexico with the conviction that great projects must generate lasting value for the places we call home. UMUSIC Hotel & Beach Club Tulum reflects that philosophy, bringing together thoughtful development, culture, and creativity to create something that will benefit the destination long after construction is complete.”

— Roberto Kelleher Vales, CEO and Founding Partner of Inmobilia

Scheduled to open in December 2026, UMUSIC Hotel & Beach Club Tulum marks a new chapter for the destination, where culture, creativity, and hospitality come together to create experiences capable of transcending borders.

Tulum isn’t just preparing to welcome the world—it’s also preparing to create something new for it.
